Pioneer Athletics

Grab tickets to a game and come cheer on your Denver Pioneers! Tickets for hockey, lacrosse, volleyball and all other NCAA sports are available online or at the Ritchie Center box office.

Newman Center for the Performing Arts

The Newman Center hosts performances by internationally renowned musicians and performing artists, as well as recitals and concerts by DU students and faculty. Check out the 2017-2018 schedule and experience some of the best arts in Denver.

Coors Fitness Center

As a Coors Fitness Center member, you'll have access to a weight room stocked with free weights and machines, treadmills and ellipticals for cardio, and a variety of group fitness classes. The Coors Fitness Center also houses a climbing wall and courts for racquet sports, as well as our Olympic-sized pool and the Joy Burns Arena, which offer open time for lap swimming and skating. Memberships can be purchased online or by calling 303-871-7684.

Renting Event Space

Our campus is open for events, meetings and conferences for people outside the University community. You can rent rooms in many of our academic and administrative buildings, and our staff can help you plan a conference on campus. We even host weddings, taking advantage of our scenery and Colorado's natural beauty.

Enrichment Program

The Enrichment Program gives interested adults the opportunity to join our academic community through non-credit classes. A combination of short courses, lectures, seminars, weekend intensives and evening classes cover topics ranging from science to contemporary issues to literature and the arts, all without the stress of grades or exams. Discuss subjects with peers and experts, deepen your understanding of the world and expand your knowledge and appreciation for topics old and new.

Professional Development

Our Center for Professional Development provides local professionals with the skills and knowledge to keep them at the forefront of their fields. Expand your abilities, grow your network and meet other driven individuals who share your occupational pursuits in our professional development classes. In addition to University College, the Center for Professional Development offers classes in partnership with our Graduate School of Social Work, the Morgridge College of Education and the Graduate School of Professional Psychology.

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a learning membership program designed for men and women age 50 and better who wish to pursue learning in a non-competitive atmosphere. Our members come from a diverse range of backgrounds, are actively involved in selecting the topics explored and serve as both teachers and learners. Classes are taught by experts, and cover a vast range of subjects. Interactive study groups mean no one stays a stranger for long, and many come away from their programs with lasting friendships.

  • Athletics Camps

    We host a wide range of camps throughout the summer for young athletes looking to boost their skills and compete at a higher level. Head basketball coach Rodney Billups leads basketball camps for athletes up through the high school level, and coaches from our other NCAA teams run camps in almost every other sport. You can sign up for overnight camps as well as day-only sessions.

  • Child Care & Early Education

    The Fisher Early Learning Center, part of our Morgridge College of Education, provides care and educational programming for children from infancy through preschool. Guided by research, the center uses a play-based format to support child development and individual needs. Children of all skills and abilities are welcome. Due to the center's reputation, seats fill up quickly—contact Fisher early to join our inclusive, nurturing community.

  • Preschool & Middle School Education

    Tailored to children who learn best outside of traditional methods, the Ricks Center for Gifted Children offers year-round programming for preschool to middle school students. Through small class sizes, an engaging curriculum and individualized attention, Ricks challenges students while ensuring their success both within and beyond the classroom. The school calendar includes optional day camps and summer camps to accommodate busy family schedules.

  • Summer Music Academy

    Our Lamont School of Music Summer Academy is a 15-day music experience for composers, instrumentalists and singers ages 14–18. School faculty and world-renowned musicians teach classes, host private lessons and guide students through their final recitals. Plus, students can enjoy supervised on- and off-campus recreational activities to get a taste of life at DU.

Transportation & Directions

Our campus is located in south Denver, just off I-25 and University Boulevard. You can easily navigate to campus via public transportation. An RTD light rail station is located near campus, making it easy to travel to downtown Denver and the airport. We even have car share services and a B-Cycle station near campus.

Parking on campus is available at hourly rates or by permit, depending on which lot you choose. If you're visiting campus for an event, you can use any of our paid lots in the neighborhood. Permits are available for purchase through Parking and Mobility Services.

Several hotels in the Denver area provide special rates for our visitors. If you're looking for lodging near campus, be sure to check out our hotel list and ask for the DU rate when you reserve your room.

We collected feedback from our neighbors during the formation of our new master plan, a far-reaching plan that will help us grow as a university and a community within Denver. Based on DU IMPACT 2025, our University-wide strategic plan, we're working toward a DU District that includes everyone in the community. DU Bookstore

The DU Bookstore, located in the Driscoll Student Center, offers a wide range of Pioneer gear, as well as new and used textbooks, snacks and the latest computer technology at the on-campus Apple store.

If you're looking for gifts or DU gear, the bookstore should be your first stop. From shirts and athletic wear to flags, blankets and glassware, there's nowhere better to find authentic merchandise for the Pio fan in your life. The DU Bookstore also offers a range of Apple products, often at a 10 percent discount for educators and students.
